Medical Imaging Grants and Scholarships

In addition to the federal and state grants and scholarships and loan options available to all undergraduate students, students in Emory's Medical Imaging program may be eligible for institutional grants and scholarships based on demonstrated financial need or academic merit.

Dependent children of eligible Emory University faculty and staff may receive full-tuition scholarships, based on employee hire date and years of service. Eligible faculty and staff and their spouses or domestic partners may also receive a courtesy tuition benefit for a portion of their tuition.

The Martin VB Teem Scholarship is an institutionally funded grant aid offered on the basis of demonstrated need as reported on the FAFSA. Financial aid packages that include the Martin VB Teem Scholarship are made to full-time students only. Funds are extremely limited and made on a first-come/first-serve basis. If you are offered the Martin VB Teem Scholarship, you are not eligible for other university need-based scholarships.

Entering National Merit finalists who are selected as a school sponsored scholar and notify National Merit Scholarship Corporation that Emory is their first choice college will receive a yearly National Merit Scholarship of $2,000 sponsored by Emory for four years of attendance. Finalists chosen by National Merit Scholarship Corporation to receive other sponsored scholarships will receive those scholarships as prescribed by National Merit Scholarship Corporation. If the National Merit Scholarship recipient has been offered institutional grant funding, the grant funding will not be reduced by the amount of the scholarship.

Dependent children of active United Methodist ministers or missionaries will receive a 45 percent tuition benefit. This tuition benefit may be adjusted when combined with other tuition scholarships.

The Yellow Ribbon program is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 that allows degree-granting institutions of higher learning in the US to voluntarily enter into an agreement with the VA to fund tuition expenses that exceed the annual VA tuition and fees benefit.

The Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholars Program annually provides scholarship support to deserving Southern, Christian, female students with financial need and an interest in the health professions. At Emory University, Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarships are offered to undergraduate and graduate students at Oxford College, Emory College, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Rollins School of Public Health, and the School of Medicine Allied Health Program.

Emory's Lettie Pate Whitehead scholarships are included in the recipients' total financial aid package, and the scholarship follows scholars through their course of study, as long as they remain in one of the above-designated schools.
